Pictures pictures and celebrating the 4th!

workout

Friday- 3 miles +arms

Saturday- 3 miles speed intervals

I hope everyone had a great long weekend celebrating the 4th of July! I’ve said this many times before, but the 4th and Christmas are my 2 very favorite holidays. The 4th is so fun to celebrate our freedoms, I feel so blessed to be an American. I started the day off with a very hot run on the treadmill(it was already 90* out) and threw in some speed intervals to change it up. I ran .25 or 1 lap w/u then .5 mile or 2 laps at a sprint, then, .25 cool down until I hit 3 miles.

Then I foam rolled like crazy! My quads needed it bad.

The whole weekend was jam packed with so much fun. I’m just going to do one picture and a short sentence so no one gets picture/word overload=)

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.
