Jackson on his 3rd Birthday

**Sorry my post is so late, it was being weird, better late than never

This year J got really spoiled. It was the first year he really understood he was having a Birthday and he was beyond excited. Leading up to his bday he was able to go to a lot of his cousin and friends’ parties and see what it was all about. This year, we threw him 2 parties one with my family and one with Josh’s family. The one with my family he shared with baby Mason(Bree’s son) who was having his 1st bday. It was a lot of fun and J was very excited. Bree made him and Mason their very own cakes, J thought that was really special.

The next day(Saturday) we had another party with Josh’s family at noon. By this point he thought everyday was going to be a party for him with a new theme. When this one was over he suggested on Sunday the theme be Super Heroes haha

He loved playing with all his cousins, showing off his presents and opening them at the speed of light. Jackson is so easy to please, so it was really fun shopping for him. He loved the Transformers outfit we got him.

This party was Ninja Turtle themed and he really loved the pinata. He would carry it around with him before the party started.

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

  1. He is such a sweet, funny kid!! I adore him! Happy Happy Birthday J! Cute parties 🙂

  2. I had multiple birthday parties as a kid and loved it! My dad’s side of the family we always have red velvet cake. On my mom’s side as a kid I got to pick, but now as we are older it just depends on who volunteers to make something.
