Tokyo Day 2

Yesterday was another whirlwind of a day, but in the best way possible. Tokyo is amazing and the people are so polite, courteous, and well kept.
I was up pretty early since my body hasn’t adjusted to the time difference so josh and I went and explored. They have these beautiful garden areas everywhere that are so peaceful.

We headed to church early in the morning by train(pretty much the only way to effectively get around) and then enjoyed the gardens and LDS temple nearby.

After changing out of church clothes we went to the Asakusa Temple. It was interesting to see how others worship and to learn more about the culture.

By this time it was lunch and we found an all you can eat sushi. I tried squid for the first time and it’s not bad! The below picture is octopus and I wasn’t brave enough to try that ha!

We walked and walked and walked yesterday! All the little streets and markets are my favorite parts. And of course sharing it with this guy.

We were all so tired and all fell asleep by 8:30. We have a half day left here in Tokyo, then we fly out to Singapore and start a new adventure today(:

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.
