Singapore/Indonesia day 1

We said goodbye to japan and headed to Singapore. It seemed like a short 6 hour flight compared to our 11 hour flight getting to Tokyo. We only spent a short morning in Singapore before we boarded a ferry to Indonesia.
Before leaving Singapore I ran about a 3.5 mile run(I’m basing it off time since the treadmill didn’t show distance)

We ate a delicious breakfast, josh was much more adventurous than I was. I stick to the safe foods like yogurt and eggs haha

After breakfast we went on a free bike ride the hotel offered. It was so fun to ride down the coast of their beach(I posted a video on Instagram). We checked out their pool, and then we boarded the ferry.

Indonesia is so beautiful! It’s really green and extremely humid. After arriving we were all pretty hungry but it was not quite dinner time. So, they opened a Thai restaurant just for us! It was such a fun experience, not to mention the food was amazing!!

Later that night we walked the beach and swam in their infinity pool. The view was breathtaking and the pictures don’t do it justice.

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

  1. That last picture is gorgeous!!! Also, is the water not purified? or is there another reason why you can’t drink it?

  2. Looks like you’re having an amazing time! I think I’d travel there for all that food alone! Hope you enjoy your last few days there! And I love your mid-bike ride photo. đŸ™‚

I think Joe has the exact same swimsuit that Josh is wearing in that last photo. Love that I can live vicariously through your adventures right now!
