Picking up Jared from his mission!

Yesterday we finally got to pick up my brother in law Jared! He’s been serving an LDS mission throughout Malaysia for 2 years(the main mission office is in Singapore that’s why we picked him up there).

It was so fun to hear stories he wasn’t able to tell in our weekly emails and see how much he’s grown physically and spiritually.
Snapshots from our day(:

This vacation has been pretty go go go so I haven’t had much time to workout. Sometimes you just gotta go with the flow and be ready to kick it in to high gear when you get back to your routine. So for now, I’m enjoying the life(:

what’s your weekend plans?

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

Looks like you are having a great time – good for you 🙂

  5. Your photos are amazing–I can’t imagine what it must be like to see all of this in person! I love getting to eat exotic fruits in foreign countries. When I was in Panama I ate a ton of rambutans, which I hear are like mangosteen but with a spiky exterior. I am busy taking a running coach training course this weekend–I’m so excited!
