We all need a little wind in our hair

wednesday- 2 mile walk with sister(hills)

Yesterday I started my day walking up a giant hill with my sister. She had to push her stroller(J was home with Josh) with Mason in it. She did awesome pushing the stroller up this mile long hill. Mason, loved the wind in his hair (:

We cooled off with some peach smoothies. I’m LOVING these delicious fruits. Fresh peeled and pitted peaches, vanilla greek yogurt, and ice is all you need=)

Later, J and I did some chores and by we I mean me. Somedays he’s super helpful other days he really does not want to be told what to do. I mean don’t we all have those days? We made up and even had time to look for snails and ‘smooth’ rocks outside. J loves to hoard rocks but only smooth ones. The way he tests them? On his face. haha

For lunch I met up with a bunch of ladies from my new neighborhood. It was really fun to finally meet some new people. I loved getting to know them. J even took some photos for me.

For dinner we got to go to a park for J’s friend Lacey’s bday part. It was the perfect night out and the birthday girl was very happy. J and Milla had fun with the balloons and trying to help Lacey do everything. ha

We rushed home from the party to drop J off with my sister Bree and sneak out to a pre-screening of The Maze Runner. I haven’t had a chance to read the books(I’m number like 525 at the library) but the movie was really good. It made me want to read the whole series to understand it all!

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

  1. I taught one yoga sculpt class this morning, and I’m teaching another this afternoon! I have been telling myself all week that I need to start running again, so it looks like that will happen on Friday!

I love the rock testing on the cheek…haha. So cute.
I did a quick 3 mile run before work this morning and might go for a bike ride later if I can squeeze it in!
