thursday- 3 miles on TM + ‘sculpted arm’ NTC workout

I know I’ve talked about this a lot, but for any new readers…the Nike Training Club app is FREE and it’s awesome. I did the sculpted arm workout under ‘Focused’ workouts(all of those workouts are only 15 min) and it was killer. My arms and legs are feeling it. I love it when they combine the workouts and I can do lunges while doing bicep curls it burns a lot more calories.

J had preschool today(no tears from me or him, success!) so I got my car’s oil changed, car wash, bank, and got gas. I usually run all those errands with J and he’s super good about it. But I’m so grateful he doesn’t have to as much anymore and he can be doing something fun and be with friends. I just enjoyed one of his kidz cliff bars while waiting for my car, so good.

After picking him up from preschool we had to drive a bit south. I can always count on finding some cute selfies on my camera after hahah=)

Yesterday I was craving all the sugars(no I’m not pregnant) and I did all that I could just to wait for Josh to get home. So after dinner we dove into cookie dough ice cream(my fav!) Seriously, I may need to go on a sugar detox, but not today or the next. Hello, Birthday weekend is not the weekend to cut sugar off;)

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own.   1. I love tricep extensions and shoulder presses for the arms! Seriously NTC gives you so many ideas for strength training! I kind of do my own version of NTC now…and I have been using heavier weights…hurts so good! But I agree it’s a GREAT app!!

    Go to sweet treat is always and forever fro yo! So cliche to say as a blogger/runner but still! 😉 Happy Friday girl!
