monday- 3 miles TM inlcline + arm workout

Yesterday morning I woke up early(for me) and got my workout in before my boys were out of bed. I’ve been trying to focus on my arms lately because I feel like they are the hardest muscle group to show improvement on my body. Any tips??

I did a .5 mile with no incline(faster pace)

.5 mile incline @ 1.5% (slower pace)  for 3 miles.

This is like the only angle it looks like it has muscle, trust me haha

Since Josh had the day off we spend the day cleaning/organizing our garage and doing yard work. Josh did the yard work, and I did what I do best, organize!

Me and J took a load of stuff to Savers(where you can donate clothes, furniture, etc) and then went grocery shopping. J was so excited to get cocoa haha We finally made it home, J took a nap and then we headed up to my sister Neeley’s for dinner, doughnuts, and our annual pumpkin patch family night.

This year is was crazy crowded. We’ve never been when we’ve had to wait in any lines, it was a mad house.

The kids had fun and weren’t bugged by crowds, but we were all pretty bummed we didn’t get to go on the hay ride.

Usually you take a hay ride to the pumpkin patch to pick out your pumpkin, but the wait was over an hour! So, we just picked an already picked pumpkin out of the bin. It was fun to get some cool colored ones.

We all had fun going down all the slides, tire swings, and the bounce house.

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

Love all of your fall activity! Looks like so much fun. We usually get pumpkins and carve them, but last year we just put them outside our front door (apartment = no porch) just plain for some decor.

  2. Pumpkin patches are SO much fun!! It looks like J had a great time!

  3. Fun!! I have not been to a pumpkin patch in ages!! I love carving pumpkins with my girlfriends though while chatting and drinking wine.
