monday-2.5 miles on TM walking/running
I meant to run yesterday on the treadmill but I just wasn’t feelin it. Luckily, I decided to do a walking incline workout and it did just the trick. If you think walking can’t be a good workout, you’re wrong! I was sweating and felt just as good after.
Here’s what I did:
TM incline to 5%, speed @ 3.5
I kept the above speed and incline for 1 mile and pumped my arms with 2lb weights. I was huffin and puffin and by the second mile I needed a little relief, so I put the incline to 0 and ran for .5 mile. The next mile I put the incline back up to 5% and the speed @ 4 with no weights. It was a quick workout that kicked my tooshie!
It’s getting pretty cold in UT and even snowed in the mountains! I decided to take J to the library to stay warm. J got to pick out books for me to read to him at home. Not what I would’ve chosen, but I love that he loves to be read to.
Then we came home and finished Monday chores, folding is the worst!
For family night Josh talked to us about his LDS mission to Russia and showed pictures. I think Russia would be my worst nightmare, I HATE being cold ha
