Wknd Recap+ our first trampoline

saturday- 2 miles + arm workout

I finally got to workout on Saturday. It wasn’t much, but it felt great to be able to run again. I had a little someone with me the whole workout, so that might have had something to do with how short it was…

Friday night my little sister Bree watched J while Josh and I went to an ugly sweater party at our church. Josh didn’t wear an ugly sweater, but Lee Ann had the perfect one for me!

Dinner was great, and there were skits, singing, and prizes given out. It was a fun night out.

Saturday we had a few errands we needed to run so Lee Ann watched J for us. They made gingerbread houses and J got to help Papa in the barn with the horses.

One of the errands was picking up J’s Christmas gift from Josh and I. We couldn’t wait for Christmas, so we set it up early…in our living room. Since we don’t have furniture in there yet, we thought it would be perfect for J to do during the winter. We’ll move it outside this summer.

He’s loving it! We had Whit and her boys over Saturday night to try it out. It became a wrestling ring, but the boys definitely had fun.

Sunday we went to church and then met up at my mom’s house. My sister’s were there and we all hung out and the cousins snuggled and watched Santa Claus 2.

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.
