Chrsitmas Eve 2014

Christmas Eve- 2 miles + lunges and squats

Sorry I’ve been absent for so long, it was a nice little break, but now I’m ready to catch you all up.

This year, Christmas was amazing! We were able to just relax with both families and enjoy each other. No rushing around, it was great.

Christmas Eve morning after my workout we headed to Josh’s Grandma’s house. We brought gifts and J enjoyed their little drummer boys with Grandma.

After, we had to run a few last minute errands but it wasn’t bad out at all. Once we got home I started cooking. My mom, sister Bree and I were in charge of Christmas Eve dinner. I made the cheesy potatoes and rolls. Everything turned out great, I was relieved! It was so fun to have Christmas Eve at my parents new home.

The kids did a nativity for everyone, J was a Shepard boy. Ya my nieces and nephews are just a bit crazy;)

We exchanged gifts and enjoyed each others company.

After my family’s party was over, we headed to Josh’s parents for a devotional and to sleep over. Josh and I did the devotional this year, and I really enjoyed planning it with Josh. I love ending the night around the Christmas tree and listening to each others testimonies of our Savior.

After staying up way too late, we all finally made it to bed in time to dream of sugarplums=)

To be continued…

what do you eat on Christmas Eve?

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

  1. Oh that sounds like a wonderful Christmas my friend!! I love the idea of doing devotionals. We went to a candlelight service at my church on Christmas Eve night. There were so many people there! For dinner we had honey baked ham, dressing and I made green bean casserole!
