Bike Ride in January

This winter has been so mild here in UT. You’re gonna see more running posts soon and hopefully a lot more outside ones. It felt so good to take a complete break, but now I’m ready as ever to start running again.

Every evening J and I have been going for walks before dinner. It’s that time of the evening when he’s antsy and can’t wait for Josh to get home and I need some fresh air ha. So I walk and he rides his little bike up and down the street. I can’t believe we have clear side walks in January!! No complaints here=)

He did find some piles of snow and wanted to stop and play.

On days that it’s too cold outside I’ve been taking him to Thanksgiving point. The other week I met my SIL Whit and Alisha. The boys played for hours.

Yesterday morning I went on a 3 mile walk with my mom. It was so gorgeous out! We only hit a few ice patches, but no one fell.

J was at preschool so I got a few errands done, then met at my friends house for lunch(with j). We got cafe rio and of course it was delicious.

We came home(I showered, don’t judge) and then chilled. Once it was dinner time I headed to my moms for dinner. My sister Bree made awesome broccoli cheese casserole(josh has been working late) and then let j help her make cookies. My sis and mom spoil me and j so much!

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.
