A Perfect Sunday

This past week Josh either worked late or was out of town. He even worked Saturday, so Sunday was so nice to finally have him home. J was really missing Josh so Sunday they got to play all day together.

We woke up and J and I made crepes together. It’s our little Sunday tradition. We fill ours with homemade strawberry freezer jam and it’s delicious!

old pic, same kinda crepes

Josh and J played all morning while I finished up my 2015 goals(will share soon). I love relaxing Sundays. Not to mention, the weather was begging for a cozy day. So much fog or frog as J calls it.

We made it to church, then headed home for dinner. I tried a new sweet and sour crock pot chicken recipe. Verdict: I wasn’t impressed.

Sunday night we always watch a movie together since the rest of the day we try not to watch any kind of TV. This week J chose Nacho Libre and actually watched it!

So glad to have Josh back to his regular schedule this week and I’m excited to be back in my routine. I hope everyone is having a wonderful Monday! I’m off to the Dinosaur Museum with my lil man=)

what’s  a perfect Sunday look like for you?

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

  1. I don’t have the patience for crepe making, I usually grab a piece of toast before church, and then like to make a good brunch afterwards. I like getting a run or visiting with friends, and then relaxing at home in the evening.

I should always pick up my room before the week starts…but that didn’t happen yesterday. oops!

  2. Mmm crepes! I love the Sunday question. Well, lately I have been doing Saturday night church which I absolutely love. So Sundays for me have been consisting of sleeping in, getting up a little later, running/maybe some yoga, and then movies and relaxing after! Oh also grocery shopping. Getting it all done before another work week!
