Me and J’s Adventures, that time Josh was out of town

I mentioned in yesterday’s post that Josh had to work late all last week, then went out of town. Josh usually doesn’t go out of town for work and doesn’t work late very often. So this was out of the norm for us(I know we’re spoiled) but J and I had some fun adventures together.

J had been begging to go to the park every day, but it was so cold I kept distracting him. Finally, I caved and took him to the park and yes it was freezing and everything was wet. That did not stop J though. He loved it and stayed for quite awhile.

I babysat Mason one night while Josh was away and his family invited me to dinner. 2 kids to wrestle in a very loud and busy restaurant is a serious workout. They actually were pretty darn good, but after we were done eating they BOTH had to sit on my lap.

We visited my good friend Jessica(she used to live closer but moved a while ago) and her boys played so nice with J. They had really fun toys and J couldn’t help but touch the baby haha

Of course there were lots and lots of bike rides.

J wanted to sleep in my bed while Josh was gone and I agreed. I love how Jackson is so cuddly and still loves to snuggle at night.

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.
