wednesday- 3 miles on TM + leg day
Yesterday J and I took it easy and just played at home since Josh was working from home. It was so relaxing to just play around the house. I told J I was going to go down stairs to workout and before I knew it he was already down there blaring music. He said he was going to do his exercises too.
I don’t know about you, but I’m always dreaming of summer. I know winter has basically just begun, but what better time to prep for those sunny days by the pool? I decided to do a killer leg workout to prep for swimsuit season. I did traditional squats, walking lunges, frog jumps, star jumps, and then my fav squat I learned from Jillian Michael’s video( I did 3 sets of 10 of each exercise).
I think it’s called the reverse squat, but the starting position is a lowered squat, as shown.
Then you lift up to a 90* angle, then back down, repeat until you can’t move;)
After me and J’s workout we played, harassed Josh while he worked, and made silly faces.
That night, Josh and I headed to the temple for date night. Tights are a girls best friend in the winter, they keep me sooo warm.
