Surprise! It’s A…

I’ve been keeping a little secret from you all. Last week on our 5 year anniversary, Josh surprised me with an early ultrasound appointment. I was completely surprised and excited/nervous to find out. We brought J with us and found out we’re having a….

Right after we found out.

We are all super excited. Friends and family have already brought over little outfits, and I couldn’t help but go and get a few things myself. Now we just need to agree on a name=)
After we let J ride the merry go round,  he was pretty excited for that too.

 Maternity Clothes? Not yet
Sleep?  I’m sleeping great minus the frequent bathroom breaks<—–Yep, still the same
Best moment this week? Finding out the gender!
Weird pregnancy moment?  Hmm, can’t think of one.
Movement: Still feel a few flutters here and there
Anything making you queasy? I get a little nauseous if I don’t eat right when I’m hungry so I keep snacks with me all the time.
What I’m looking forward to:  Planning the nursery
how did your parents come up with your name?

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

  1. YAY!!!!!!!! Congratulations to all of you! I’m sure she will be a wonderful addition to your already amazing family!

  2. HOORAY!!!! Soo excited for a baby girl! 🙂

My mom liked the way Alyssa Milano spelled her name but then liked the “Alisa” pronunciation. That’s about it!

  3. That’s so exciting that it’s a girl!!!

My mom came up with my name because she liked the brand Laura Ashley but thought Laura was too common so I became Lauren.

The best story though is that I named my younger sister when I was three because I would ask my mom everyday if Kelly was here yet, and my mom would say “Kelly who?” And I’d respond “Kelly in your belly!”. Hahaha so they really had no choice! But they spelled it Kellie to make it a little different!! 🙂

  4. SO exciting! girls are SO SO much fun!! Wahhoooooo!

p.s. text me. let’s do lunch!! (I don’t like saying where I live online for safety purposes–I know, I’m silly) or email me Enjoy Your Healthy Life @ gmail

    muah! ❤
