friday- 3 miles+ legs
Friday I did a killer leg workout with lots of weighted squats and lunges.I always make sure to stretch after each workout, it feels so good on my prego body.
That morning we met up with friends at Chick Fila because it was raining a bit. The kids had fun playing and I had fun eating their delicious cob salad.
Saturday both my running buddies were out of town so I decided to get up and get things done around the house. When I’m pregnant I only have so much energy each day. I want to get a lot done like I used to, but as I get bigger, the more tired/achy I become as the day goes on. So I decided to get up and tackle all the odds and ends of the projects we’ve had going. Josh took J golfing with him that morning. J was so excited and needed to wear a hat like dad, shorts, Nike’s, and wasn’t going to eat breakfast unless Josh sat down and ate too. I love them.
I weeded the flower beds in the front of the house while it was still cool out, finished painting our brick(went from orange to red), finished painting the grout in my bathroom, fixed a few holes we had in the walls from this or that, and started on the nursery(took down the bamboo from the previous owners and filled the holes).
still need to add more flowers and bury the drip line

While I was doing all of this(with J ‘helping’) Josh was painting the outside of the house. That’s going to be a huge project! All in all, Saturday was such a productive day and we needed to do something fun. We headed up to my mom’s pool and it was just what we needed.
Sunday we headed up to Leah’s for Zach’s baby blessing. It was such a beautiful blessing, and I loved getting to snuggle him afterward. We were both too comfy for me to get a pic, but there is nothing like snuggling a newborn. I did however get a blurry pic of the delicious brunch food, um ya that ALL happened.
