Is it bad luck if…


thursday- 3 mile walk on TM(incline 1.5%) + leg workout

I’ve decided not to run/jog anymore during this pregnancy. I made it 30 weeks running and feel really good about that. Ultimately, I want to stay active and feel as good as I can leading up to delivery so that me and baby are healthy and so that recovery is easier. Unfortunately, during my last runs, I was experiencing excruciating pain that would last all day long. I’m so glad I can still walk and lift weight without the same degree of pain, so no complaints here, just crazy faces.

Yesterday after working out, me and J met up with Josh’s grandparents. They live in such a beautiful neighborhood and J loves going and seeing the duck pond. These two are too cute!

J had his second to last swimming lesson. He’s loved them a lot! I can’t wait to take him swimming today and see if he’s willing to swim with me and not his teacher, ha.

The other night we had some crazy thunder and rain. I heard a huge crash downstairs and found out it was one of our family pictures=( Is that bud luck??

Nesting is in full force! I made an extra dinner this week to freeze for when baby comes(lasagna). My plan is to have 8 or so freezer meals(1 extra meal a week till she’s here), but I think it’ll be so nice on nights I just don’t want to think about cooking.

I can’t seem to find the right nursery color, so no update there. I’m hoping today I’ll finally find the right color and can finish painting this weekend. Fingers crossed! J dancing like a maniac at while we wait for paint to mix.

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

    I can’t wait to see how the nursery looks! I love making a Mexican lasagna to freeze. Did a track workout today, it was HOT and I forgot my water. #fail!

  2. You are so prepared making meals ahead of time! Mmmm now I have not had that dish in a very long time. This weekend is my half marathon so rest day today, maybe a little running tomorrow!

  3. I finally got back on my bike this week! I did two rides, and felt so much stronger on the second ride, I’m hoping the same can be said when I get in the water next week. And I think it’s good to hold off on the walk/running, you’ll get back to that soon enough. As for paint colors, I love yellow.
