Soccer and WA bound

How’s everyone’s long weekend going? We decided to visit my hometown in WA state over the long weekend and visit family. I had a niece and nephew getting baptized so it was such a treat to be a part of their special days.

Before we left for WA last week we headed to J’s soccer game. He had quite the fan base of grandma, papa, aunt Leeshy, and Lindsay. I feel so blessed to not only be surrounded by family, but supported and loved by them too.

The next morning, Thursday, we flew out to WA State. The kids were great on the flight(the whole trip really) and we couldn’t wait to find some good grub.

We made a bee line to Ivarrs, nothing like Seattle seafood.

Me and the kids hung out my sister in laws and their kids while all the guys went to a Seahawks game. My niece Emma was so sweet with Lily.

More from our trip this week after I get the pictures off my camera. It was such a good trip home:)

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.
