Preschool 2015-2016

J had his first day of preschool( about a month ago, playing catch up)! This is our second year of doing neighborhood preschool and we both love it!

I teach two days a month for 2.5 hours each day(we buy the curriculum from here ) and on the 5th week of every month we take turns doing field trips.

J is looking so grown up these days.

He loves to be the leader(we are learning how to take turns doing what our friends want to do;)).

He loves to learn and will practice his letters often. He can spell his name but can’t write all the letters in it yet.

He really loves his friends in preschool. He talks about them all day. But he is realizing girls are different and can sometimes not want to play with them.

This past Thursday it was my turn for the field trip. I took the kids to a nearby farm where we visited the animals, rode the hayride, and the ponies. It was a success because Heather came too, thanks Heather!

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.
