Apple Picking

I can’t tell you enough just how much I LOVE the fall. It’s definitely my favorite season here in UT. The whole month of October we spend our days outside in the perfect temperature and enjoying traditions.

Our friends invited us to go apple picking at a nearby orchard. I had no idea Jackson would be so into it.

He filled his bucket of all the apples his little hands could reach.

Poor Lily, I promise I wasn’t standing with the Sun in her eyes for long!

He loved finding these baby apples, so cute!

Afterward we went to our friends house and let the kids dip the apples in caramel and sprinkles. It was so yummy and brought back so many memories as a kid.

I think we might have to go back so I can make an apple pie:)

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.
