Christmas Party Book Exchange 2015

Every year me and a few friends get together with our kids for our annual Christmas party/book exchange. This year Heather had it at her house and it was a lot of fun. Each child brings a Christmas book, then they exchange it with a friend. Before we do that, we have lunch together. It’s pot luck style and we all sit around and chat. I love getting together with friends in the middle of the day and just having a relaxed wonderful time.

The kids are all at an age now that they play so well. No fights, and we were all able to enjoy ourselves.

Katie brought gingerbread cookies for the kids to decorate. I think this was J’s favorite part. He ate the whole cookie!

Lily slept through most of the party, but not before a little photo shoot with her bff Easton(Heather’s son).

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.
