32/33 week bump update: Nesting mode

The past couple of weeks I have been in full blown nesting mode. I LOVE when this hits because it feels good to get all the things done.

I painted my laundry room walls and cabinets, and decorated. I love creating a home for my family.

I still need a picture for that frame, but I love the rugs, paint, and curtain. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s just a nice breath of fresh air now.

Most everything on my to do list is done, phew! I signed up for Citrus Pear with a few girlfriends to stock up my freezer with 20 meals, I’ve been stocking up on snacks, diapers, medicine, cleaning supplies, and I’m feeling prepared.

At my 32 week appointment I had an ultrasound to check baby boy’s kidneys. At my 20 week ultrasound he had too much urine in his kidneys and if it had increased by 32 weeks he would need a surgery after birth. Luckily, everything looks healthy and normal!!! He was also measuring 34 weeks in size and an ounce away from 5lbs! So who knows when this (not so)little guy is gonna want to show up.

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.
